We just spent a week at Villa Iris in Puerto Vallarta for my daughters 30th Birthday. The Villa accommodated 18 adults very comfortably. I cannot say enough about the exceptional service and details to attention the staff… Monse, Mario, Chef, Louis and others gave to all of us. We needed for nothing. Without them our experience would not have been the same. We were sad to go!
We traveled with a group of 14 and stayed at Casa Septiembre during the first weekend of August. Everything about this trip was made perfect by the Agave Villas team. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect. There’s far too many wonderful details to write out in this review, but here are a few highlights of things we loved:
– Our concierge Carla reached out weeks before our trip to ask about dietary restrictions, and to help us plan transportation/activities. Her attention to detail really made the trip spectacular.
– The staff at the house was incredible. Angel, Gustavo, and the kitchen team prepared wonderful meals. We had two vegans in our group who the team went above and beyond for. Angel was also so thoughtful in putting special touches for the group, including going into town to purchase vegan desserts, and selecting the most delicious locally roasted coffee.
– There was nothing like waking up in the morning to fresh coffee, hot bacon, fresh squeezed juices, platters on platters of perfectly ripe tropical fruit, and eggs+breakfast made to order. Every meal was perfect!
– A big shout out to Jorge and Manuel, who kept the margaritas flowing at the bar!
– The villa was perfect for our large group. Everyone had their own space and bathroom, and there was plenty of central space to gather, eat, and play. We absolutely loved the pool+palapa+bar, and the proximity to the beach.
We will definitely be booking future trips with Agave Villas!
Casa Septiembre was amazing. Great location. Easy beach access and access to downtown. The staff was awesome. They were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us. The only negative with the villa is that the lighting is low at night and it would be nice to have AC in the main sitting room.
The Savvy Travelers Group can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was at Villa Magnifico. The property accommodated 19 adults and 2 kids with ease. The villa is beautiful, clean, spacious, comfortable and most inviting. The pool is massive and the pool lounge area was an absolute bonus. It gave you the illusion of a 5 star hotel.
The staff at Villa Magnifico was nothing short of amazing! They made us all feel like royalty. From the amazing women who prepared breakfast, Suzanna and Bene to the awesome duo who prepared lunch and dinner, Juan and Melli. Every meal was outstanding… and we know good food!
One night I hosted a retirement celebration for my husband where 36 guests were in attendance. Juan and Melli served a couple of appetizers, a salad, steak, lobster, baked potatoes and steamed vegetables. The dinner was scrumptious. The table was set up beautifully. The service during celebration was astounding.
Next there were two phenomenal women who kept the place spotless and our personal laundry clean, Carolina and Luz. Both worked hard which made us feel pampered and that could not have been an easy feat because of the sheer numbers of us.
Then there was Salvador who kept the pool clean. He did a terrific job behind the scenes to make sure we awoke to a sparkling pool and outdoor lounge area at the start of the day.
Villa Magnifico's amazing staff included two really great guys, the housemen, Chicho and Sergio. Chicho was good. He was professional and attentive. Sergio is the gentleman we spent the most time with. He was like the icing on any cake. He attended to our every need. He arranged transportation, he served every meal with professionalism and a smile. He was easy to talk to, to laugh with and he was always in a great mood no matter how long his day was. His customer service skills took my husband's retirement celebration to the next level. We're are grateful for everything that each of them did to make our vacation spectacular!
The entire Savvy Travelers Group will remember our time at Villa Magnifico with only the fondest of memories.
We searched at length for the perfect house for a 50th birthday escape/celebration with friends from across the US. Casa Septembre was an easy choice from its photos/amenities, but turned out to be EVEN BETTER in person! Our entire stay felt like we were at a private, glamorous resort in Old Hollywood, with our every need considered. Stunning decor throughout exudes old Mexico yet feels contemporary; quiet location right on the beach, beautiful lush & well-maintained garden, romantic, ample bedrooms and open/airy feel. As picky architects, we were especially impressed. Everything is even better than the site photos (the feel of the air, atmosphere and house are unique in person). If you're for old world glamour and a lovely staff who waits on your every need–yet feels like family and LOVES great music–absolutely stay here. We all made plans to come back ASAP, together and separately! Thanks, all who run Casa Septiembre, I will remember my time with you forever.

A group of twelve of us rented Casa Septiembre in Dec and had one of the best vacations of our lives. We are all very experienced travelers and been to many places. This was the best house/villa we have ever stayed in. From the location (best beach in PV), views, architecture, interior design, huge pool, service and food! It was incredible. Far enough away to be out of the craziness of town, yet close enough to go shopping, dinner or nightlife.It is an easy walk into town (15 minutes on the beach) or a $3 cab ride.
This beautiful out of the way villa delivers on the promise of incredible food, first class accommodations and amenities and a view that is exquisite. Our rooms were expertly decorated with local artwork, and the grounds detailed with special touches of Mexican culture. The staff found ways to meet every request and went far beyond standard hospitality. I would recommend this for any groups looking for a unique high quality villa.
From the minute you embark on your private boat ride to the beautiful resort, the staff greets you from afar and welcomes you as family! Service is amazing! Mango Margaritas and freshly cut coconut along with shrimp cerviche and the fabulous carne asada, housemade beans rice, chocolate flan and most importantly, fresh corn tortillas prepared daily by the culinary team made each meal memorable! Guest rooms were decorated with themed designs along with cultural pieces. Dance all night long under the stars and moonlight! Music can be loud as you desire! Have a massage overlooking the water! Take a short hike to the nearby beach next door! Watch the whales as they play in the ocean and be sure to bring your camera because you will want to share your dream come true vacation with family and friends! Villa Balboa is truly amazing. Located just south of town it has amazing ocean views in every direction. You can sit for hours in the infinity pool and enjoy the sound of the ocean and views for days. With a full staff, chef, waiter, concierge – we had an amazing time with every needed accommodated. The house is very clean and modern, the rooms have amazing views and balconies – two with their own hot tubs. I cannot wait to go back.
I wanted to send a quick email to sincerely thank you for making this trip an unforgettable experience. Everything from the villa to the staff were exactly what they were looking for at Villa Magnifico. The group had nothing but rave reviews for the 2 house managers, dinner chef and housekeeping and they are a very hard group to please.
This villa was beyond our dreams….the staff created an atmosphere of pampered luxury by catering to our every need. The attention to details for every meal was evident, from the flowers, the creative and colorful linens that were different at every meal, the presentation of the delicious food, as well as the quantity and variety of food choices, and the professional and warm manner in which it was served.. The villa itself was magnificent in its creative decor and attention to detail, the pool and access to the beach helped create a total private resort atmosphere. The unexpected bar and bartender was a treat, meeting the various needs of my family. The bedrooms, each with its private bath, gave our guests the necessary privacy and individual luxury. The proximity to town allowed for short excursions, but we really loved to just relax around the villa and enjoy our own private resort! This vacation was so memorable because of Casa de Septiembre, creating a lasting memory for everyone.
