Punta Mita’s Jack Nicklaus Golf Courses
Widely considered one of the greatest golfers of all time, Jack Nicklaus has invested his talent and expertise into designing hundreds of premium golf courses all over the world. Two of his most stunning creations, Pacifico and Bahia, can be found right here in Punta Mita, and are just waiting for you to discover on the tropical getaway of your dreams.
Pacifico Golf Course
Host to the most magnificent island green in the world, the Tail of the Whale offers up to 7000 yards for players to explore, with spectacular views of the Pacific on the southern side and breathtaking mountain scenery on the opposite end. The tropical jungle provides an incredible backdrop to a relaxing day on the course. With 18 holes and a Par 72 rating, the course is a challenge with its dynamic terrain, and is widely considered the best course of Nicklaus’s design. Hole 3B, better known as the “Tail of the Whale” hole, was also positioned in 7th place on its prestigious list of impressive holes, with Jack Nicklaus even describing it as the best par 3 hole he ever designed.

Bahia Golf Course
