We had a fantastic getaway with friends we’ve known for 50 years. The villa and grounds are even more spectacular in person than the gorgeous photos. Diana from Agave Villas was so helpful in helping us pick the perfect villa for our group, and Alejandro facilitated having everything stocked and prearranged.
Upon our arrival our houseman Marco, chef Abraham and housekeeper Rosario greeted us with cool moist towels and even colder margaritas!
We were so pampered! If you raised your hand, Marco met it with the margarita of the day or a refreshing agua fresca. We asked Abraham to tempt us with authentic dishes from Jalisco and he delivered with fresh fish preparations that ranged from ceviche to grilled whole red snapper. There was chicken mole, enchiladas, chile rellenos and authentic pork ahogados tortas. We had expected only lunch and dinner service, but they said since we’re there, they would provide breakfast as well! From chilaquiles and huevos rancheros to French toast and eggs, we dined like royalty.
Rosario kept the house and grounds immaculate, and our guests were astounded to find their clothes laundered and folded on their beds.
We had a special needs adult child with us, and the entire staff went above and beyond to cater to her unique needs. Thank you!
