Nestled in the hills of Real de Conchas Chinas, this recently renovated villa offered us a two-day, one-night escape filled with breathtaking views, gourmet meals, and plenty of laughter.
We were fortunate to be hosted by the generous villa owners, who invited us to experience the newly remodeled property firsthand — and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, pampered, and inspired by the beauty surrounding us.

A Warm Welcome & Villa Tour
We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by the incredible Hacienda de Los Santos staff:
- Chef Chevo and his assistant Karina (culinary geniuses!)
- Andy, the friendly houseman and butler
- Katia, the attentive house manager
We kicked off our stay with refreshing drinks and snacks before enjoying a guided tour of the villa’s unique layout:
- Main House: 4 spacious bedrooms
- Guest House: Separate entrance up a flight of stairs for added privacy
- Casita: 3 bedrooms, including one with its own private kitchen, dining area, and plunge pool.
Capturing Moments
No Agave Villas retreat is complete without a team photoshoot, and this year, we had the pleasure of working with Dan Mora. The villa’s natural lighting and stunning architecture created the perfect backdrop for updated headshots and group photos.
From candid laughter to picture-perfect poses, Dan made the session relaxed and fun, transforming what might have felt like work into a trip highlight.
Gourmet Meals & Team Bonding
After the photoshoot, we gathered around the table to enjoy our first meal
- Mexican Tapas with quesadillas, chips & guacamole, and flavorful salsas
- Fresh Veggies served with lime and Tajin
The evening continued with a White Elephant gift exchange, adding a playful, personal touch to our gathering. Then came Fishbowl — a hilarious mix of charades and word association that had us in tears of laughter.
That evening’s dinner was a feast to remember:
- Surf & Turf with jumbo shrimp, octopus, and perfectly grilled arrachera.
- Grilled Veggies, bursting with smoky flavour and vibrant colours.
As the night unfolded, we lingered by the pool, sharing stories and soaking in the twinkling lights of Puerto Vallarta below, grateful for this opportunity to connect outside of work.
Morning Bliss & a Tasty Farewell
The next morning, we gathered for a casual team meeting while savoring a vibrant breakfast spread:
- Red & Green Chilaquiles (with chicken or egg)
- Freshly Made Waffles or French Toast
- Bacon, Beans, & Totopos
The day wrapped up with remote work and one final meal — a Mixed Taco Feast featuring fish, shrimp, and veggie tacos.
